Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi
You will be met on arrival and transferred to the illustrious Fairmont Norfolk hotel built during the colonial times in the early 1900s and since graced by world leaders and luminaries. Your lunch at a private house will be followed by a visit to Giraffe Center for the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Overnight at Fairmont Norfolk Hotel (LBB).

Day 2: Meru National Park
Today take a scheduled flight to Meru where Elsa the lioness of 'Born Free' fame, was rehabilitated by conservationists Joy and George Adamson. Spend 3 nights at the magical Elsa's Kopje whose wonderfully stylish accommodation atop a knoll offers gorgeous views of Elsa's wilderness. Game activities include 4x4 day and night game drives, guided nature walks and bush breakfasts and sundowners. Meals and overnight at Elsa's Kopje (LDBB).

Day 3: Meru National Park

Day 5: Samburu & Buffalo Springs 
After breakfast, take your scheduled flight to the picturesque Samburu Game Reserve where you will spend 2 nights at the unique Elephant Watch Camp. The camp specializes in providing in-depth interactions with elephants of Samburu which have been well researched by the camp owners, Iain and Oria Douglas Hamilton. The guides know several elephant families by heart thus making each encounter intimate, exhilarating and emotional. Meals and overnight at Elephant Watch Camp (LDBB).

Day 6: Samburu & Buffalo Springs

Option 2
You may swap Elephant Watch Camp for Loisaba Lodge. This exclusive lodge in the remote Laikipa region is set on a plateau overlooking Mt. Kenya and the plains below. You may enjoy day and night game activities, bush meals and sundowners in an exclusive private reserve with excellent resident wildlife. The more adventurous can spend a night sleeping on an outdoor star bed under the stars.

Day 7: Masai Mara
Today fly across the Great Rift Valley to the golden plains of the Masai Mara. You will spend 3 nights at Cottars 1920s Camp. This small, exclusive camp is owned by a 3rd generation settler family which pioneered exclusive safaris as far back as 1920. Supremely luxurious, the camp is set on a vast private conservation area which ensures your game activities are very private and personalized. Game viewing in open 4x4 is usually outstanding, especially during the wildebeest migration season between August and October. You may also participate in game walks with exceptional professional guides. When in camp a private butler will attend to all your needs, from a private candlelit bush dinner under the stars to a hot bath just before you return from your game drive. Day 8: Masai Mara
Whole day in the Mara with morning and afternoon shared game drives. Meals and overnight at Cottars 1920s Camp (LDBB).

Day 10: Depart
After your final game drive and breakfast, you will fly back to Nairobi where a dayroom is reserved for you at the Fairmont Norfolk Hotel until your transfer to the airport for your flight back home. We recommend a beach extension to exotic Zanzibar or Lamu.
